Evelyn Carey 84 of Billerica, MA passed away peacefully Tuesday June 18, 2024 at home surrounded by family.
Evelyn is survived by her husband of 64 years Frederick C. Carey III. Four daughters Lena Carey, Christine Carey, Pamela Paquin and her husband Kenneth, and Angela Carey. Seven grandchildren Jessica, Jenifer, Stephanie, Jason, Ashley, Megan and Nicole. Five great grandchildren Devan, Griffin, Liam, Mackenzie and Penelope. Evelyn was predeceased by her parents, sisters Louise, Marilyn, Pat and brothers Bub, Sonny and Eddie.
Evelyn loved spending time with her family. She loved taking drives with Fred to their favorite places. She loved playing cards, greed, doing puzzles, reading, and doing word searches. Evelyn also enjoyed making pillows for breast cancer patients at Lowell General Hospital. She made hundreds over the years and patients really loved them animals. He was one of friendliest people to exist, considering everyone he met a friend. May he rest in peace, knowing he made a lasting impact on those around him. Services will be held privately.
