Kevin E. O’Leary, of Salem, NH (formerly of Somerville)

Kevin E. O’Leary, of Salem, NH (formerly of Somerville), passed away on September 26, 2025, at the age of 80.

He was predeceased by his beloved wife, Margaret “DeeDee” (O’Halloran) O’Leary, and his children Timothy O’Leary and Meghan O’Leary.

 Kevin was a devoted father to Kelley O’Leary and her partner Kenneth Marshall of Malden, Taylor O’Leary of Revere (wife of the late Timothy), Noreen O’Leary and her partner David Eberlein of Somerville, Kevin O’Leary of Malden, and Caitlin Duckett and her husband Aaron of Salem, NH. Brother to the late Francis O’Leary, Timothy O’Leary and Jerimiah O”Leary Survived by his sisters Ann (Sarno) O’Leary and Maureen (Mulley) O’Leary also survived by many loving grandchildren, great grandchildren nieces, and nephews. 

Kevin was a retired cab driver for Green Cab in Somerville and a proud veteran of the U.S. Army. Known for his sharp mind, he was a master of trivia, loved watching The History Channel, and was an avid reader of nonfiction and mysteries. He also enjoyed doing The Jumble in the Boston Herald, and found joy in cooking and baking for his family.

Kevin will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

A memorial Mass will be held in his honor at St. Raphael’s in Medford at 9:15 a.m. on Sunday, October 5th, 2025. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to a charity of your choice.
